Dynamic E911 Setup Wizard

Configure a single Microsoft Teams emergency location through a guided, reviewable workflow.

1. AddressSelect an existing civic address or create a new one.
2. PlaceOptionally select or create a floor, suite, room, or area.
3. NetworkEnter subnet, BSSID, switch, or switch port information.
4. ReviewConfirm the configuration before import.
5. ImportCreate the Teams LIS address, place, network identifier, and trusted IP through the Azure Functions backend.
The Network step can import a Teams client support .zip to Import and prefill available network values before review. If you would like to utilize this feature, it is recommended to begin collecting that file now. If you need steps to do that, click the help button.

      Windows PC

      1. In the Windows taskbar notification area, select the Teams icon.
      2. If the Teams icon is hidden, select the up arrow first.
      3. Right-click the Teams icon, then select Help.
      4. Select Collect Support Files.
      5. Wait for Teams to create the support package, then import or drag the resulting .zip file into this page.

      Mac PC

      1. Open Microsoft Teams.
      2. From the macOS menu bar, select Help.
      3. Select Collect Support Files or Collect Diagnostic Logs, depending on the Teams version.
      4. Wait for Teams to create the support package, then import or drag the resulting .zip file into this page.

      Teams screens and menu labels can vary by client version. If the menu option is unavailable, update Teams or ask the user to collect diagnostics from the Teams Help menu.
